Special additives are mixed in the bitumen materials to speed up the curing speed of emulsified asphalt on the road surface, and therefore reduce the working time, by about four times compared with the existing emulsified asphalt (RSC-4).
The product shows a high resistance to rain immediately upon installation and is workable even at low temperatures. It also allows for the earlier opening of traffic due to the reduced time for controlling the scattering of aggregates and the reduced working time.
The product is suitable for the special pavements including concrete roads, bridge pavement, SMA, and water permeable pavement as it shows a strong penetrability with the use of an emulsifier and rubber-based polymer, and an excellent flexibility and tensile strength due to the enhanced adhesive force.
Furthermore, it is suitable for the surface treatment of cracked old pavement roads, and also for waterproof priming, prevention of soil collapse, and dust-proof pavement.
The product is an emulsified asphalt designed to protect the asphalt concrete layers against the construction machinery or vehicles during road pavement work by strongly binding the asphalt concrete layers and with its strong anti-wear and low adhesion properties.
It is suitable for the sites of re-construction work after cutting, night work, surface treatment of old pavements, and also for the tack coat of cement or water permeable pavements.
This product helps promptly open the newly paved roads or bridges by speeding up the curing speed of the existing BL coat with the addition of the FRS coat to the BL coat.
